TNT Brings Theater Program to Local Schools for Social Emotional Learning

Does your local school have a dedicated theater program? Most elementary schools and many middle schools do not have the resources to support a theater department. Take Note Troupe is offering local schools theater programming to support school administrators, teachers, and students!

Beginning in fall 2025, TNT offers the opportunity for schools to host them as the visiting theater department. We provide the directors, choreography, costumes, theater, royalties, and everything you need to put on a great show, and the school provides the actors! Rehearsals happen after school (or during the school day) twice a week for 7 weeks followed by three opportunities to perform.

Flexible Options for Financing Theater Program at Your Local School

Schools can choose to cover the costs, share the costs with the parents, or pass the entire cost on to the parents, depending on their situation and resources. Regardless of how the program is funded, you’ll get excellent value for the money you dedicate to the development of your students.

Included in Every Theater Program’s Rehearsal for Local Schools is TNT’s Signature Play Theory

Along with preparing students to perform a musical, TNT will infuse every rehearsal and interaction with Play Theory, a positive paradigm that promotes social emotional learning and collaboration. TNT’s Play Theory gives youth the skills they need to be collaborative creators and to face challenges and obstacles with a resilient mindset. Included in the package is a school-wide interactive assembly that focuses on Play Theory from an anti-bullying perspective so even students not actively participating in the theater program benefit from social emotional coaching.  It’s a win all around!
