Frequently Asked Questions
Families must pay for a TNT Annual Family Registration once per season to be able to enroll and purchase classes. Please register with an email address that you regularly monitor. This is the email TNT uses to communicate with families about classes. If you have trouble purchasing a class after you have paid for registration, please contact TNT.
TNT Annual Family Registrations expire each year in July when the new season’s registration becomes available for purchase.
No. Once the production is cast, you must pay for a TNT Annual Family Registration before you can pay tuition for Shakespeare and enroll as an official cast member.
No. Summer Camp participants are not required to purchase a TNT Annual Family Registration.
You can reset your password here by entering the email address you registered on TNT’s website.
Take Note Troupe is utilizing the BAND App to communicate with enrolled families for its productions/shows and On the Spot Improv. Parents or older students should be regularly checking BAND (at least weekly before rehearsal). During tech and performance weeks, parents/students should be checking it daily. You are responsible for group communication in this app which includes things like announcements, rehearsal and schedules, costuming information, etc. Families/students can also ask questions, participate in the TNT community, or notify TNT if a student is ill and unable to attend rehearsal through the BAND app.
Students enrolled in our Play Theory classes and summer camps (not productions/shows or On the Spot Improv) will receive communication about classes and camps via email. The email used to register is where communication is sent.
We also highly recommend reading TNT’s monthly emails for information about exciting upcoming events, special offers, and news. If you aren’t currently receiving our emails, sign up at the bottom of this page where it says “Subscribe To Our Email List & Keep Up With Our Latest News.”
Take Note Troupe’s MainStage productions feature elite students who have mastered Play Theory in performance and are more experienced on stage. Most of the students in TNT’s MainStage productions are high-school aged. Typically, MainStage shows have longer running times than our children’s theater productions and the plots and storylines are more complex than Children’s Theater.
Take Note Troupe’s Children’s Theater productions give TNT’s younger students (elementary school through high school freshman) an opportunity to continue developing their Play Theory skills performing on stage. Children’s Theater shows are shorter in length and have simplified plots and storylines in comparison to MainStage. This makes TNT’s Children’s Theater productions ideal for introducing younger children to the performing arts from the audience or on stage.
All of Take Note Troupe’s productions are family-friendly. We strive to serve the audience through performance in all of our productions.
Yes! We are vendored with Horizon, Cottonwood, Sequoia Gove, South Sutter, Clarksville, and Feather River. If you are using charter funds, please email [email protected] for information on how to sign up in a timely manner for classes to reserve your space while you are waiting for your purchase order to be processed. Remember, even if you are paying via your charter school for a class, you still need to go through the checkout process online for the class so your student appears on the class roster and their space is reserved.
