18th Annual Shakespeare in the Park

  For 18 years, TNT has brought free, family friendly, high quality Shakespeare performances to communities in our area. In 2019, over 4,000 attendees came to our 8 shows. Your business can be a sponsor of this exciting community event, with Shakespeare as he meant us to experience it-- with music, dancing, costumes, humor, and energy!

NOTE: All of our performances in 2021 are conditional upon COVID-19 regulations in June. We cannot guarantee these performances at this time.

The Bard Level $4000 -- Be our Sponsor at all 10 shows throughout the community! We’ll hang your company’s banner at each venue and include your logo in all our advertising (print and online), as well as tagging your business and using your hashtag on all social media related to Shakespeare in the Park. You’ll be recognized as the Bard Level Sponsor during announcements at the show and in the printed program. VIP seating for you and your guests. We will also include your full page ad in our printed program.  

Globe Theater Level -- Be the sponsor of the shows at one of our venues. You will receive recognition being the sponsor during the welcome, with your logo appearing on our website and your business mentioned in the printed and online program. We’ll tag your business on social media promotions of the event. We will hang your company’s banner at the amphitheater on the nights you sponsor. Specific venues and sponsorships amounts below:

$2500 -- Join the City of Rocklin in being our official sponsor of the Quarry Park performances. 

$1700 -- Join Historic Folsom District in being our official sponsor of the performances in their beautiful amphitheater. Also included is space for a ½ page ad in our printed program.

$1500 --  Join the Auburn Arts Commission in sponsoring our performance at Auburn's Garden Library Theater. Includes space for a ¼ page ad in our printed program.

Black Friars’ Level $500 -- Have your business listed in our printed program as a sponsor and space for a ¼  page ad in our printed program.

Stratford Level $250 -- Have your business listed in our printed program as a sponsor and space for a business card sized ad in our printed program.

AUDITION PROCESS

A Virtual Orientation for participants and their parents will be Feb 11th, 7:00 pm. Fill out the forms below and email them to tntshows@gmail.com for the zoom link to participate. All auditions videos must be sent to tntshows@gmail.com by Monday Feb 15th. Audition sides will be posted on takenotetroupe.org (backstage-- password is "puck") and at this LINK. Callbacks will be Friday March 5, 12:00–7:00 Sat March 6, 1:00-5:00.

ELIGIBILITY & CONSIDERATIONS

  • Play Theory prerequisite met
  • 10th-12th grade
  • Consent to wear masks if mandated
  • Casting is not guaranteed
  • Dates of performance to be determined
  • Public performance is not guaranteed
  • Rehearsal schedule and locations to be determined

Things to Keep in Mind

Bring low-backed chairs or picnic blankets and a light jacket for after dark. We recommend picking up dinner at a local eatery to enjoy during the show. Please plan to arrive between 6:30 pm and 7:15 pm so that we can check you in and help you find a seat. After 7:15, we will open up remaining seats to those without reservations. Groups will be spaced at safe distance from each other during the performance. The show will begin at 7:30.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or if anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, you are asked to cancel your reservations and stay home. We will be streaming the performance on our website on Saturday, June 12 for those who need or prefer to watch from home.
