PLAY THEORY with Dancing Inspired by Romeo + Juliet

Does your child have a Happiness Practice? The skills taught in Play Theory camps help kids be more resilient, more collaborative, and better able to face whatever is in front of them! But these camps don’t feel like “self help.” Our application this time will be on Shakespeare and how we can use dance to tell a story. Along with language and character understanding, participants in this camp for ages 12-16 will focus on replicating one of the energetic dance numbers used in this year’s production of Romeo and Juliet.
Description
Parents and participants should expect that the foundation of each of these classes is the Play Theory system which teaches life skills for happiness! Play Theory games and exercises will be featured each day. Each session ends with a Showcase during the last half hour of class time that participants’ family and friends are invited to attend.
- Monday-Friday from 3:30pm-5:30pm
- Age Group: 12-16
- Choose one: Session 1 (June 12-16) or Session 2 (June 19-23)

- Location: Take Note Troupe Studio, 9001 Foothills Blvd, Suite 130 in Roseville
- Priority registration for fall performance classes will be given to those who have participated in TNT Summer Camps this year.
*Registration fee is waived for the summer camp
