PLAY THEORY Meets the Bard

$200.00

Does your child have a Happiness Practice? The skills taught in Play Theory camps help kids be more resilient, more collaborative, and better able to face whatever is in front of them! But these camps don’t feel like “self help.” We’ll apply it this time to Shakespeare! The language and poetry of Shakespeare are beautiful, but not always understood. In addition to learning basic story lines, participants ages 11-14 will memorize and gain understanding of Shakespearean language from Romeo and Juliet and other Shakespeare plays. Like Shakespeare in the Park, there will be a staged group number that includes movement. This camp ends with a Showcase combined with the other age groups on the last day.
