• Ages 13-18 (8th grade through High School)
• Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:30-9:00 pm (ALL Cast), 5:00-6:15 pm (scene work as called)
• Additional rehearsals: Saturday, Sept 26 (11:30 am-1:30 pm), Saturday, October 17 (10am-noon), Thursday, 11/19 4:30-9:00pm, Monday, November 23 10 am-2 pm
• Audition: August 27 4:30-9:00 pm
• Parent and Participant Orientation: September 3 6:30 pm
• Tech Week and performance dates: Tech/Dress November 30-December 3) Shows Dec 4, 5, 11, 12. Potential added performances: Dec 9, 10.
• Audition Date/Parent Orientation: Monday, August 31 3:30-6:30 pm. (Parents meeting 45 minutes max)
• Performance Dates: November 13, 14, 20, 21. Each cast will perform at least 3 times. Saturdays will include a matinee and early evening show.

Audition for this full-length spectacular musical that celebrates hope, family, and finding your destiny. The show takes place in the 1920s in St Petersburg (Act 1) and Paris (Act 2). There are many roles for those who wish to speak or sing, as well as for those who prefer to dance or and don’t want any lines.

Participants are expected to enroll concurrently in one of our Happiness classes unless they have been invited to be a Play Theory coach. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this skill building requirement in our program. 

Attendance at rehearsals is vital and considered mandatory. Please disclose ALL conflicts on your audition form and make every effort to be at every rehearsal, prepared for what we will practice that day. 

We respect your family time and other commitments, but as we only meet once a week (plus one Saturday each month), missing rehearsal has a big impact on you and others. 

There will be an orientation on Thursday, Sept 3 at 6:30pm. Parents and participants are expected to attend. 

Enrollment will open once casting has been determined (after auditions). At that point you need to enroll immediately (within the week) in order to secure your spot and role. 

An intent to audition can be found HERE (coming soon). Audition sides will be sent out in July to those who have filled out an intent. If you are not able to be at auditions on August 27, please make arrangements with us in advance to do a video audition.

In addition to the rehearsal and performance opportunities, this tuition includes a video recording of the show and most of the costume. Families will be expected to provide an undercostume and shoes, and in some cases a basic wardrobe item from home.

Please note that we have six performances scheduled as well as some tentative dates (for a field trip performance and if the shows are selling out and we need to add performances). Please block all of these in our calendar so that you can be prepared if we do add the performances.
