A first for Take Note Troupe- A Community Show with Adult Actors
We have been talking and dreaming about it for years and finally we are making it happen! This July, TNT Alumni that you know and love along with some other friends take the stage to produce Peter and the Starcatcher. It’s going to be EPIC! Our cast includes professional actors (and a few not-so-professional) who are committed to bringing high quality, family friendly arts to our community.
What is Peter and the starcatcher?
Before there was a boy who wouldn’t grow up…there was a story you’ve probably never heard.
Set sail with us on a wildly inventive, laugh-out-loud adventure where a nameless orphan, a determined girl, and a band of delightfully ridiculous pirates collide on the high seas. Packed with clever wordplay, surprising heart, and the kind of theatrical magic that turns ropes into oceans and trunks into entire worlds, Peter and the Starcatcher reminds us that imagination is the greatest special effect of all.
Who’s Who in the cast of Peter and the Starcatcher?
We are so glad you asked! Here’s our cast and a little about them.

Jeff Dickamore-Florence BLACK STACHE. Growing up as a theater kid in Utah, Jeff went on to study in Paris at The Cours Florent Acting Conservatory and in Knoxville at The Clarence Brown Theatre/University of Tennessee where, along with a Master of Fine Arts degree, he was awarded a Thomas Fellowship for his original adaptation of Tarzan of the Apes. His favorite roles include Benedick (Much Ado, Random Access Theatre/New York), David (After the Dance, Co-Op Theater East/New York), and Phileas Fogg (Around the World in 80 Days, CBT/Knoxville), as well as Cade O’Brien in Sarah M. Eden’s The Sheriffs of Savage Wells film adaptation and the title role in The Carpenter by Garrett Batty. Now living in Los Angeles, Jeff can frequently be found collaborating with his amazing wife and TNT All-Star, Aurora Florence, and playing with his three children, two cats, and one dog.

Michael Anderson, BOY. For Michael, happiness is a skill and skills take practice. As the host of the video podcast The Happiness Playbook, he works as a happiness coach to help others practice Play Theory, a mindset that leads to happiness. As Program Director for Take Note Troupe, he has directed eight plays and coaches the On The Spot improv team. An alumnus of the Troupe, his notable past roles include Horton in Seussical, Bob Cratchit in Scrooge, Sir Andrew Twelfth Night, and Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors. After years behind the scenes, Michael Anderson is excited to step back into a role as Boy in Peter and the Starcatcher.

Lydia Adams, PRENTISS. Lydia is 19 and this is her 13th show with Take Note Troupe. She’s especially enjoyed being on stage in Much Ado About Nothing (Sonnet), Newsies (Katherine) , Seussical (Jojo), and many more. She was thrilled to receive an award at the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s High School competition in 2025 with a duo scene from The Merry Wives of Windsor. She’s loved being apart of TNT and is elated to be back to play Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher. She hopes you have fun!

Sophia Brown, TED. Sophia is a recent TNT Alumna who is currently studying History at Brigham Young University. She has been doing theater with TNT since she was 7 years old and is excited to get another chance to participate in theater. Her notable roles include Mrs Sowerberry in Oliver!, Dromio in A Comedy of Errors, Crutchie in Newsies, and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing.

Jared Thomas, LORD LEONARD ASTER. Jared’s acting career spans over 4 decades starting in 1985 when he starred as Father Time in Mountview Elementary’s 5th Grade musical. His career blossomed in high school with various minor roles including one of six cast members in The Dining Room for which he won the Best Supporting Actor in the Utah State One Act Competition. Since then, he has honed his craft in the live melodrama The Thomas Family that has continuously run since 1997. Of particular note was his convincing performance in Michal, Will You Marry Me? and How Am I the Father of Six Children? He is best known for his role as a prominent chiropractor where he, remarkably, plays a likeable doctor. He would like to thank Tobias Funke and by extension Carl Weathers for inspiring him to get back on stage as an “act-or” despite being well into his middle age.

Kiahna Anderson, MOLLY ASTER. Kiahna Anderson is honored to take on the role of the natural-born leader, Molly Aster. A dancer since the age of three, Kiahna brings a lifelong love of movement to the stage, having previously choreographed three productions for Take Note Troupe. Her performance history includes appearing as Sheriff Smith in Tom Sawyer, as well as years of school choir and a musical upbringing singing with her father’s band. She is thrilled to be part of a story that celebrates bravery, magic, and “star-stuff.”

Truman Florence, SMEE/LT. GREGGORS. Truman Florence is thrilled to return to the stage with Take Note Troupe (TNT), where his love of theatre first began as a student in the program. Since graduating, he has continued to explore his passion through productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and She Loves Me. Truman is especially excited to be back with TNT and to take on the role of Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher, sharing the stage with his brother-in-law Jeff, who plays Black Stache. He’s grateful to be part of this production and to reconnect with the community that started it all. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and their two cats, where he works as an Art Director.

Dallin Blair, MRS. BUMBRAKE. Dallin is excited to return to the stage with Take Note Troupe this summer. He performed with TNT while in high school and was also a member of On the Spot improv. He is grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with theater and thanks his family and friends for their support.

Kyle Hutchings, ALF/A SAILOR. Kyle has enjoyed the stage throughout his life. Having participated in several productions, including: Twelfth Night (Sir Toby), Romeo and Juliet (Prince), and more. However, none more memorable than The Fantastics (Hucklebee), where he met his wife, the pianist for the production.

Eliza Moe, BILL SLANK, HAWKING CLAM, A BRITISH SEAFARER. Eliza is thrilled to be a part of this production. She has been doing theater since she was 8 and first performed with Take Note Troupe at age 15. Notable roles include Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Miranda in The Tempest. A proud mom of 3, Eliza is grateful for the opportunity to perform and share her love of theater.

Reagan Caudle, GREMPKIN/ FIGHTING PRAWN/ SANCHEZ. A TNT alum who graduated in 2023, Reagan’s hobbies include Trader Joe’s, complaining about the cold weather, and talking about herself in the third person. Previous roles include Marcela (Twelfth Night), Nurse (Romeo and Juliet), Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical) and was a member of On the Spot improv. Reagan studies journalism at BYU and spends most of her free time listening to the goblin in her head feed her sketch ideas for Divine Comedy, of which she is a member. She hopes to one day kill and eat this goblin, but fears doing so might result in fewer sketches.

Leona Adams, CAPTAIN ROBERT FALCON SCOTT/ A BRITISH NAVAL OFFICER. Leona is 21 and started doing shows with Take Note Troupe since she was 10. Some of her favorite shows to perform were Much Ado About Nothing (Watch), Twelfth Night (Antonia the Pirate Queen), and Peter Pan Jr. (Wendy Darling). She’s excited to be on the stage once again in Peter and the Starcatcher and hopes you enjoy the show!

Kate Clift, TEACHER/A SAILOR. Kate Clift returns to the stage after a 20 year hiatus, during which she produced 4 (awesome) sons who have loved participating in TNT. It’s been a blessing in our lives! When she saw that they were having auditions for a show put on by adults, she thought, “What the heck! I’ll try out”. She about fell over when she saw she had been cast. Kate will be brushing up on her high school skills where she performed in A Comedy of Errors, a Cole Porter review, and many choir performances. Which way is stage right again?

Olivia Wixom, MACK/ PIRATE ENSEMBLE. Olivia is delighted to be back on stage! An alumna of Take Note Troupe and a student at BYU-Idaho, she has previously appeared in Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, A Comedy of Errors, Seussical, and Oliver!—which means she’s comfortable with everything from Shakespearean insults to spontaneous bursts of song. In her free time, she loves giving back as a Play Theory coach for the junior shows at TNT, where she got her start. Enjoy the show!

Crystal Dever, SAILOR ENSEMBLE/MOLLUSK ENSEMBLE. Crystal has loved to sing, dance, act, and all aspects of performance since she was a child. She has been in many productions and more recently has loved directing, choreographing and acting as a music director for TNT shows. She loves working with kids and youth and is excited for the opportunity to work with the other adults in this production!
