We previously highlighted our Shakespeare Summer Camps for families looking to expose their children to classical works, but we have some other fun camps planned too.

Summer Camps 2023 for Ages 8-18

Our Mary Poppins Roseville Summer Camp 2023 for ages 8-11 and ages 12-16, scheduled in July, are shaping up to be practically perfect in every way– Campers will sing and dance to the songs “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” “Step in Time” and “Spoonful of Sugar.” The camp director says the whole show is about looking outward and being present.

Summer camp opportunities can be difficult to find for older teens. Take Note Troupe has you covered though with teen favorite — Play Theory in Improv! These improv classes are different every time so you can sign up for multiple weeks because the input will always be different depending on the improvisors participating in the class. It’s a great way to really learn all four principles of Play Theory that are foundational to all of TNT’s classes. As a bonus — these improv principles won’t just make your teen funnier, but they can also help them to improve their mental health as they practice these principles. Older teens ages 14-18 and advanced improvisors who love music should check out our Musical Improv class in August that adds another level of complexity to comedy improv.
