In 2025, we will be preparing and presenting Much Ado About Nothing. This is our 22nd year of sharing Shakespeare with the community! If you are looking for information about attending Much Ado About Nothing please visit this page.

It is our 22nd year of sharing Shakespeare with the community! This is an incredible service opportunity.

While being a highlight for families and participants, this commitment is demanding on schedules with late night tech rehearsals and culminating in multiple performances in community parks and school field trips in late May and early June. Placement is by audition. Play Theory prerequisite is required for participation as well as concurrent enrollment in a PT class or current or past coaching of a PT class.

Note- this cast requires commitment. Each time you miss a rehearsal it impacts the entire cast. If you audition, the rehearsals need to be a high priority.

Additionally, Shakespeare participants are required to help with TNT’s Big Day of Giving Fundraiser, help find sponsors for the show, and assist with the distribution of handbills and posters.

Participants will learn their lines early in the season and work diligently, looking outward, to make the team stronger and to make the show a generous gift to our community.  Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory and unexcused absences will result in your role being reassigned.

  • Age Group: 15-18
  • Tuition: $400 plus fundraising requirement
  • Auditions: January 16th
  • Class Dates: All cast meet weekly Thursdays, 5:00pm-6:20pm Small Sets as Called and 6:00pm-9:00pm All Cast with a few additional Saturday rehearsals. Leads should expect to meet most weeks with directors in small sets in addition to the Thursday evening rehearsals.
  • Most classes will meet at 9001 Foothills Blvd Suite 130 in Roseville, performances are throughout the community
  • Tech Rehearsals: May 19-22; Performances anticipated: May 23, 24, 28-30, June 4-6

After auditions, those cast will be given access to the tuition page for official enrollment.

We are vendored with Horizon, South Sutter Charter School, Cottonwood, and Sequoia Grove. If you are using charter funds, please email  [email protected] for information on how to sign up in a timely manner after you have been cast.

Think carefully. Do you have a family vacation planned? Are you taking night classes at a college or have other school commitments (i.e. choir, band, graduation)? Are you employed? Are you in another play or performing art? Are you in a sport? Only the dates listed here will be excused absences. Unexcused absences can result in your role being changed by the directors.

The cast will be posted here once it is final. Please respect the process of paying tuition, registering for the Shakespeare class and joining the group as it will be where we communicate with the cast. ***Mandatory orientation for all cast and a parent Thursday (date TBA) at 7pm. Parents can leave after the meeting is over but cast members will stay until 9pm.

Access to Groups for all classes (including Shakespeare in the Park) is available when you login with the username and password used to purchase the TNT Annual Family Membership.
