Shakespeare Funtensive Workshop

For high school aged students wishing to learn how to perform Shakespeare’s works. Highly recommended for those who wish to be cast in future Shakespeare in the Park productions. There is a pre-show opportunity for Shakespeare in the Park performances.

Performers will travel to a variety of venues in the area, including the State Theater in Auburn, Quarry Park in Rocklin, Folsom Historic Amphitheater, and others.

Shakespeare in the Park – As You Like It (ensemble)

In order to participate at any level, you must fulfill the following 2 requirements:

  1.  Participant and an adult attend the mandatory orientation meeting
  2. Submit an essay to TNTshows@gmail.com with the following: Declaration that you have read the play, a brief synopsis of the play, what play theory means to you or how it has affected your life AND why you would like to participate.

On the Spot Improv Team

Placement on the team is by audition only. There are monthly public shows and intermittent additional performances. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 4:00 -6:00 pm and some Saturdays (when there is a show).

 

Auditions will be Saturday, August 25th from 1-4pm at 4357 Pacific St. We strongly recommend the Summer Improv class for those who wish to try out, especially if they have not taken a TNT PLAY THEORY class in the past.

 

Participating in On the Spot is a commitment and a privilege. Team members are expected to be consistent in their attendance, to take part in planning and marketing the shows, and to practice the PLAY THEORY principles. As a member of On the Spot, you are an ambassador for TNT and will be asked to help us at community events and workshops from time to time. Parents will be expected to help with the box office and other needs a few times each semester.
