Drawing from British, French, Japanese, and American theater traditions, this three day intensive will give participants the opportunity to approach storytelling through a highly imaginative, physical-first, full-bodied methodology. By introducing basic devised theater techniques, weight-sharing tricks, lifts, and acrobatics to the practice of Play Theory, participants will collaborate to build a short performance from scratch which will be shared with friends and family at the end of the experience.

Want to be a part of shows in the future? Do you want to feel confident walking into an audition? Come to this camp to polish your auditioning skills!

If you are an improv beginner—or if you remember the fun you had last time—this camp is perfect for you!
We combine the excitement of improv with the power of Play Theory, using fun games that teach valuable skills. Improv isn’t just enjoyable; it’s a great way to boost your Play Theory Happiness Skills, which will improve every area of your life, even after camp ends. At the end of the camp, you’ll showcase your skills in a performance for your family!

Join us for music and dance along with lots of Play Theory games. We’ll practice happiness, movement, singing, and have a great time collaborating on a short performance for parents at the end of the week.

If you see it in the park, you’re going to want to relive it through this camp! Come learn some fun Bollywood dances and a few scenes from Taming of the Shrew. Shakespeare can be so much fun and this camp is a great way to get to know a beloved comedy of the Bard and to try some new things.

This intensive is for coaching and preparation for the Shakespeare Competition in October. Participants must audition and make the team before enrolling.
