Fall Production

Passing the Bard

Take Note Troupe’s original production, Passing the Bard, explores the relevance of Shakespeare through the lens of engaging high school characters.

When Joe, the star quarterback, needs help passing English Lit, he solicits help from the class’s star scholar, Aaron with an A, (be be confused with his twin sister Erin with an E). Comedy and romance abound as they should in any good Shakespeare parody. In the end, Joe ends up teaching Aaron a thing or two as well. You don’t have to be a Shakespeare enthusiast to enjoy this delightful staging that references each of the Bard’s plays.
