High School Improv Workshop #2 – Improv Scenework Fundamentals

2 of 3 workshops for high school students with our STAR instructor, Andy Sarouhan.

Back by popular demand, professional improver Andy Sarouhan will be teaching this virtual class for students who have already had some experience with improv.  (no beginners please)  In addition to improv skills, Andy has also been actively involved with instructing in our current COVID virtual format allowing us to have an incredible experience!

All improvised scenes begin with a completely blank slate, and the prospect of creating something from virtually nothing can be intimidating.  This course will examine basic improv habits that assist our scenes in having solid foundations of information.  The clearer our understanding of the world of the scene, the more opportunity we get to actually play around in that world.  And the playing is where the fun is!

These workshops are independent in content.  Participants can enroll in one, two or all of the workshops that will be offered.
