Play Theory in Dance: 7-10 yrs old
Not everyone on stage has had experience with formal dance instruction. Skills required for performing in a musical include singing, dancing and acting. This workshop is specifically geared to those who do not feel like dance is their strong suit. We will focus on basic dance steps that are used repetitively by choreographers for musical productions. Simple techniques like how to walk across a stage or working with a partner are some of the examples of skills being taught. As always at TNT, we will incorporate the values of Play Theory applied to dancing as a way for guaranteed success. Join experienced dancer and choreographer Alex Shadle for this amazing class.
