Press Release: Take Note Troupe (TNT) presents William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Free in the Park
The award winning Take Note Troupe (TNT), partnered with the Folsom Historic District Association, the Auburn Arts Commission, and the City of Rocklin, present Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Enjoy a safe, socially distant evening in the open air with friends and family, as some of Shakespeare’s most beloved and befuddled characters journey through a magical forest where fairies frolic and the woods truly do have eyes.
TNT’s upbeat interpretation and award winning costumes bring an engaging and entertaining adaptation the whole family is sure to enjoy. Over the past 18 years, TNT has performed for thousands of Shakespeare enthusiasts and garnered serious awards. This is Shakespeare at its best. Romantic, magical and unforgettable, this timeless play and award winning troupe combine to keep audiences spellbound. It’s always delightful to hear generous comments from either surprised first time attendees or the loyal fans, who come year after year to enjoy the show.

Bring your low backed chairs or blankets and a picnic to make the most of the evening. (It is not anticipated that there will be food trucks at the events this year, though that may change.) Households will be seated by ushers with spacing between groups.
On the evening of the show, please arrive between 6:30 and 7:15 to give adequate time to check in. Those who have not claimed their reservations by 7:15 may lose them to walk-ups.
