Program
Take Note Troupe is a service oriented youth theater company. Placement is by application. TNT is now accepting applications for participation in the 2013/14 season. There is limited room in the Troupe and placement will be determined by which individuals and families TNT can best serve and which individuals and families can best serve TNT.
TNT is a unique program providing life enhancing workshops, uplifting school assemblies, leadership training and family friendly, uplifting productions. TNT teaches the important stuff ike how to have a more positive outlook, how to communicate more effectively, how to improve relationships with others and how to be a happier person. TNT participants develop valuable leadership skills as they lead PLAY THEORY workshops and participate in TNT’s productions; an original work in January and Shakespeare in the Park each June.
TNT stages an original educational show each winter performing 6 to 8 school assemblies for local schools. TNT stages an annual Shakespeare in the Park each June. Participation in TNT includes Improv training, acting instruction, PLAY THEORY training and workshop leadership, service concerts in December and April and other service opportunities. Attending the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s National High School Competition, taking place the first weekend in October in Cedar City, is by invitation from TNT’s directors. Participation on TNT’s improv team, On the Spot is by audition. Casting in all productions is by audition.

Limited scholarships are available. Inquire to apply. There are also TNT jobs that can be applied for to offset cost of tuition.

DRAMATIC MOMENTS CLASS= ages 12-14 Meets bi monthly THURSDAYs 4:00-5:20 REGISTRATION FORM
= $100 per semester (fall semester includes shirt)

Additional short course classes will be offered by TNT’s directors Hank Florence and Fallon Duff covering acting fundamentals such as objectives and scene work and other offerings to be determined. Classes will consist of small sets of committed actors meeting early on Thursdays or possibly Fridays paying an additional fee also tbd.
Each Summer TNT offers weeklong day camps focusing on TNT's PLAY THEORY. Please sign up for email notifications if you want the details of upcoming camps.
TNT is committed to supporting the arts in our schools. We would be happy to coordinate an assemby performance of one of our shows. We also provide workshops that can be altered to fit a specific group's needs We don't charge for workshops and assemblies and always welcome donations whenever funding is possible. If you are interested in positive peer mentoring contact TNT to discuss how TNT can make a difference in your school or group.
* Participation in TNT should be considered a family commitment. All fees can be offset by service hours contributed by participants and their family members. There are a number of ways you can help, from creating sets, distributing show posters, scheduling fund raising events, selling concessions, sewing costumes, among many other roles.
